    • Ben Randal:  Opens up Eight Days Later,
    • Danny Bredon: A Former warrant officer with the Parachute Regiment. He is Boyd’s oldest and best friend, and have served together on many occasions. Danny pursued a rising career within the parachute regiment as Boyd moved into the murky world of special forces and covert intelligence.
    • Sandra: Danny Bredons’ wife, Shes as hard as bullets.
    • Yvonne: Sandra Bredons younger sister by two years. The only woman Boyd has ever had any long term attachment with. She lives in Aldershot and works behind the bar in The Crimea.
    • Peter: Boat mechanic, they first met while Boyd was learning to drive and Peter was a corporal in the REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical engineers.)
    • D.I. Hague: Senior, ranking police officer within the Thames valley Constabulary, based in Aldershot.
    • Doctor Maxwell Oliver Saunders: Retired doctor Living on a Narrow boat somewhere in London.
    • Sheridan: Lives on the canals and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the waterways.
    • Johnson, Corporal: Ben Randal’s section commander before he left the Army
    • “Napalm”, Lance Corporal:  Real Name Nathan Palmer same section as Johnson.
    • “Gibbo”, Gibson: Private, waiting to enter selection for the SAS  fiercely dedicated to his career path. lives breaths and eats the military.
    • “Jock” McKenzie: Private, with model good looks and abundant charm. A brawler who wont fall down.
    • Haqqani Khajuri: Escaped from U.S. Custody in Kabul, killing a US soldier in the process. Is a lift on site  and most wanted.
    • Dougie Killick: Glaswegian drug dealer, operating in Hampshire and London, a  proctologist’s dream “the complete arsehole”
    • Lt Colonel Truit: Military Liaison American Embassy London.
    • Lt Gene Quinn: US Ranger Battalion on secondment to the UK
  • Mr Harris and Mr Jones: probably best not to ask  what they do, they wouldn’t tell you anyway.
